Who would consider to be a “hero” figure and why?

Worship is a key part of our meeting. We often focus on ministering to the needs of those in our group. During this time we focus on ministering to the Lord.

WORD

This week take the Proverb for the day and read it as a group. Prior to the meeting review the Proverb and, if possible, read it several times and in different translations.

In the meeting, ask the group to take turns reading it and, while it is being read, ask them to remember one key truth that strikes them to share with the group.

Proverbs is filled with wisdom for daily living and there are always rich times in God’s word as we explore it together.
