WELCOME ICEBREAKER

Share with the group a highlight in the year 2003.

WORSHIP

Come before the Lord with thanksgiving. Start the year being thankful for what He has done in 2003 and your expectations for great things in 2004.

WORD

God’s desire is that we would continue to grow in every area of our life. In order to get to the next level (whether it be spiritual, financial, family or physical) we need to ask ourselves some hard questions. As a group discuss the following questions and corresponding scriptures:

1. Are you faithful at the level you are currently at? Luke 16:10-12 (see the TLB if available)
   
   
   • How do you see this principle or faithfulness in action at work, in your family, at church?
     
     
2. Are you ready to change? Isaiah 55:8-11
   
   
   • What are some examples of thoughts, attitudes, ways or priorities that have to change in order to go to a higher level?
     
     
3. Do you have a clear vision of what the next level is? Proverbs 29:18, Habakkuk 2:1-4
   
   
   • How important is a clear vision of the next level and why must we write it down?
   • As a group hold each other accountable that you will write out the vision for the next level of your lives. Galatians 6:7-8
   • Discuss the vision of a harvest in the next level based on the seeds of faithfulness at the present level. Ask for examples.
     
     
4. How will your family be affected if you increase?
   
   
5. Are you seeking out wisdom from those who have walked at this level? Proverbs 20:5
   
   
   • How do you go about getting wise counsel from those who are walking in the next level? What should you do and what should you avoid doing?

WORK

Please let you group know that there are a number of key events this month that will help them grow to a higher level:

• Invite them to the missions breakfast with Wayne Myers, if you want to go to a higher place financially this is a must!!!
• Encourage all the men to schedule the last Saturday in January for the Wild At Heart men’s event.
• Encourage your group to come out and support the Celebrate Recovery kickoff night with guest speaker Tommy Thomas. This course is purely designed to take you to a higher level.

Leaders please remember to schedule the last Thursday for Leadership Summit. See you there. These too are designed to take you higher!!
