Share with each other how you came to be in Coastal Church.

QUESTIONS

  1. What does Ephesians 1:4 tell us of the timing of God’s decision to adopt us?
  2. Do some have a better standing than others?  See Colossians 2:9, 10
  3. Did you or anyone else influence God’s decision?
  4. On what basis are we the children of God? See Galatians 3:26
One father had 2 sons in Luke 15:11.
  1. Why was the elder son angry?
  2. Did he not believe in mercy and forgiveness, or did he think he had received the worst of the family situation?
  3. Romans 12:2  tells us to renew our minds.  Discuss how thinking and attitude determines how we see ourselves:
    1. As children
    1. As servants
  4. Does the above make a difference how we serve and build in the Church of Jesus?
  5. How is having a proper attitude towards God’s chosen leadership bring benefits to us now and in the future?  See 1 Thessalonians 5:12, 13 and Hebrews 13:17.
  6. Can you remember the illustration of how having puppy feet is the way to grow in the church?
Fact:  Coastal Church exists.  Isn’t it great to be part of the dream and vision?
