WELCOME ICEBREAKERShare with each other how you came to be in Coastal Church.
QUESTIONS- What does Ephesians 1:4 tell us of the timing of God’s decision to adopt us?
- Do some have a better standing than others? See Colossians 2:9, 10
- Did you or anyone else influence God’s decision?
- On what basis are we the children of God? See Galatians 3:26
One father had 2 sons in Luke 15:11.
- Why was the elder son angry?
- Did he not believe in mercy and forgiveness, or did he think he had received the worst of the family situation?
- Romans 12:2 tells us to renew our minds. Discuss how thinking and attitude determines how we see ourselves:
- As children
- As servants
- Does the above make a difference how we serve and build in the Church of Jesus?
- How is having a proper attitude towards God’s chosen leadership bring benefits to us now and in the future? See 1 Thessalonians 5:12, 13 and Hebrews 13:17.
- Can you remember the illustration of how having puppy feet is the way to grow in the church?
Fact: Coastal Church exists. Isn’t it great to be part of the dream and vision?
God Bless.
