As a group read John 3:1-21. You may choose to have a narrator and have two members read aloud as a play the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus.

Discussion questions:

1. Why do you think Nicodemus came to Jesus by night?
2. What can we learn about Nicodemus from this passage?
3. What point is Jesus making comparing the spiritual birth to the wind?
4. When Jesus brought up the need for a person to be 'born again', how did Nicodemus react and why?
5. What did Jesus mean when He said you have to be born again to see the kingdom of God?
6. How do you think Nicodemus came away from this meeting with Jesus?
7. What is the most important point in this passage for where you are at right now?

Pray for the needs in your group AND also have your group pray for another home group.

Encourage your group to memorize John 1:14. I encourage you to say it all together out of a translation you all agree on. Ask them to read to the end of John chapter 4 for Sunday.
