WELCOME ICEBREAKER What doors of opportunity have opened up for you since January 2006? WORSHIP Psalm 105:1-8. If you are unable to have a time of singing in your group read these verses of worship before starting the discussion. WORD In order to see our God given opportunities flourish there are some key things we need to do. Review and discuss how the following scriptures apply: Read Mark 8:34-38 - How has your relationship with Jesus affected the opportunities you choose to follow?

Read Isaiah 43:18,19 and Philippians 3:12,13 - What causes us to look back and not let go of the past?
- How would you finish the sentence in Philippians 3:13; “but one thing I do…”?
Read Psalm 73:1-4

Read Psalm 1:1-3; 92:13 - What advice would give someone who is flourishing in his or her new opportunity but now often is missing at home group or church?

WORK Pray for one another and the strength needed to pursue the opportunities God is giving us. Stay in touch with your group over the summer. Let’s stay connected to God’s word and one another. Remember the next Leadership Summit is Thursday, July 27, 2006. Our annual leadership retreat will be at Deroche again this year, August 24-26. We are so blessed to have Blaine Bartel as our guest speaker for this. Blaine is well known for building the largest youth group in the USA and he is Canadian! He is an exceptional communicator, plan now to make the sessions. More details to follow. Next Sunday is our dessert night for those who want to join a small group.
