Matthew 9:37-38
“Then He said to His disciples, ‘the harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harrvest.”

God has given us a purpose and a mandate as believers to be a witness. It has been said of the great evangelist, DL Moody, that he never knew of one convert who led someone to Jesus who hadn’t been witnessed to before.

As a group look up and discuss the following verses on witnessing to others about our faith in Christ:

• Proverbs 11:30
• Colossians 1:28-29

Read the “parable of the lost coin” in Luke 15:8-10.
Discuss how, like the woman in the story, we must sweep back the spiritual darkness by praying for people in our lives.

Read Acts 8:26-40 about the account of Philip who had a divine set-up by the Holy Spirit.
Discuss how he boldly obeyed, allowing God to interrupt his life.

Matthew 28:18-20 is called the Great Commission.
Discuss the fact that the action word “go” isn’t a suggestion. Also, read about the responsibility we have to share in Ezekiel 3:18-19.

WORK

Remind your group about the Easter Services this weekend (Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 9am and 11am). Challenge the group to use this weekend as an opportunity to see souls won to Jesus Christ. Pray for specific names of friends or family of those in the group to receive Christ.
