Register Your Group

Designate someone as your administrator and have them create a giving group by Clicking Here and then select “Create a Giving Group”

Login & Invite New Members

Once you’ve created a new group, send an email invite to other Life Group members & start giving!

Can I still support this campaign if I’m not part of a Life Group?

If you’re not part of a life group, we would love to connect you to one!  Please email [email protected].  If this is not possible right now for any reason and you would still like to support our campaign, you can give directly by clicking ‘Give To The Campaign’ on the main campaign page: https://link.charitableimpact.com/Djs2fVh4DYb

Why can’t I see my group on the campaign page?

The list only shows the four most active groups, so you might need to click on ‘See All Groups’ or use the search bar to see the full list. Also make sure your group is not set as private, or it won’t show up in the campaign groups. You can change this by editing your group settings.

Can my Life Group merge with another one?

No – This challenge is for individual Life Groups.

Can I simply donate money towards my Life Group for the challenge?

We welcome all donations but the Life Group challenge is only for items that we sell. 

Do I have to use the Charitable Impact platform?

Yes – Charitable Impact has been set up to enable your Life Group to create its own group page to track your group’s financial progress.​​

Can we start selling items before January 2026?

Yes – you can begin to fundraise immediately

​Can I put our Life Group monies raised through the sale of items into the offering?

For funds raised to be designated to your Life Group, it needs to go through the Charitable Impact Campaign.

Why are we having to sell items?

We all have items that we could sell, and it brings incredible strength, unity and joy as we work together.

Group Setup & Admin

If you’re a Life Group leader and need help setting up your Charitable Impact Group, here are some steps to help get you started.
How do I create a Charitable Impact account?

Start by visiting charitableimpact.com and then hover your mouse over to the top right corner of the screen. Click on the “Sign Up” Button and input your email, password and first & last name.

You will receive a welcome email from Charitable Impact immediately after sign-up. Click on this email link to get more information about Charitable Impact and personal account setup.

How do I create my Giving Group?

Each Life Group should have one leader create the group and manage as an admin. Other members can be added later.

After creating a new account (or singing in to existing account), go to the 135 Life Group Challenge Campaign (Click Here)

  • From the campaign page, scroll to Campaign Supporters
  • Click the Green Create a Giving Group button
Create a Life Group Giving Group (Leaders Only)

Edit your group information:

  • Life Group Name
  • Optional description or message
  • Set your life group fundraising goal and timeframe
  • Upload a photo (optional but recommended)
  • Click Create Group

Your group now has its own link and webpage with a Give button that members can use to give directly to your fundraising goal! Click the share icon to get a URL for your give group.

Invite Your Life Group Members

After creating the group click Invite Members by adding their email.

You can also share the link URL through:

  • WhatsApp
  • Text

Members will:

  1. Click the link
  2. Join your Life Group team
  3. Give toward the 135 Giving Campaign through your group
How can I edit my group settings & information?

As a group admin, you’ll see a top-level navigation with different options for managing your group page. The second tab is labeled “Edit Group”. Clicking on this tab will allow you to edit the basic settings in your group, a custom group description, group pictures and custom fundraising goals. 

How do I track total donations & other groups?

You can keep track of total donations to the Eden Cafe by visiting the official Eden Cafe Life Group Challenge page: my.charitableimpact.com/campaigns/135-giving-campaign-life-group-challenge

You’ll see an area on the bottom of the webpage with all groups listed, along with fundraising results.

How to Give

Please follow the instructions below to give using your Life Group Charitable Impact page
How do I give from my group page?

In order for your donations to count towards your group’s total, you need to give through the group page. Start by navigating to your group page and then clicking on the blue GIVE button. If you choose to give through the main 135 fundraiser page, it will not be associated with your Life Group page.

Do I need a pre-loaded balance to give?

Although CHIMP does have a feature that allows you to pre-load a balance into your account, it’s not necessary if you would like to make a donation through your group page. Simply enter the amount on the give form and choose your name from the dropdown menu under “Personal Account”.
