Christmas at Coastal Church
Before Jesus was born, humanity was trapped in darkness, weary and yearning for a Savior to bring light and meaning. The anticipation of redemption mirrored the struggles and hopelessness that many people still face today. However, with Christ’s arrival, hope emerged, and hearts were forever changed. His birth offered a gift that could fill the emptiness, bringing joy and purpose to all.
The impact of Jesus’ coming was like the breaking of a new dawn, offering renewal and a fresh start for believers. Let us remember that this holy night is not just a story, it’s an invitation to receive the love and peace that Christ offers, and to share that light with a weary world still in need of hope.
You are invited to join us for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight service on December 24th! Delivering a festive mix of Christmas cheer, traditional carols, and heartwarming specials, it’s an event that the entire family can enjoy.

NORTH VANCOUVER CAMPUS UPDATE
Due to Capilano University’s holiday break, we will not be meeting at the campus auditorium on Sunday, December 29th. We warmly invite our church family to join us at another campus during this time.
OFFICE HOLIDAY HOURS
The Coastal Church office will be closed from December 25th to 28th and from December 30th to January 1st.
We’d love for you to join us for a special Christmas Sunday Service as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! This year’s service will feature a heartwarming message from our Senior Pastor and an opportunity to celebrate Christmas with church family & friends.

Because of your generosity and support, we are able to share the Gospel, disciple believers, do the work of the ministry and serve our community with the love of Jesus.
To participate in what God is doing through Coastal Church, we invite you to give and select General Missions as a giving designation.
Coastal Eden Team
Our Coastal Eden Team is a group of urban missionaries dedicated to intentional living in Vancouver’s DTES neighbourhood. Our Coastal Eden Cafe is an extension of this ministry, providing employment opportunities for marginalized individuals.
Prison Gifts
Jesus instructs us to care for the forgotten members of our society. With your generosity, we are working to change this. 2024 marks the 9th year that Coastal Church has worked to deliver Christmas packages to minimum and medium security inmates in Mission, BC.
Dinner With The Father
This year, we will be participating in our 20th year of providing a special “Dinner with the Father” for Vancouver Friends for Life Society members – a wellness centre supporting those who are alone in their fight with life-challenging illnesses.
Boxes of Hope
We are partnering with Whole Way House to gift Boxes of Hope to seniors, veterans and vulnerable residents on Christmas. Packing a present is easy, just visit wholewayhouse.ca to sign up! Boxes of Hope can be dropped off at our Coastal Eden Café by December 11th.
