What is the Connect Course?
The Connect Course is our four-part, monthly experience that’s designed to help you grow in your relationship with God, learn about your God-given gifts, and become a member of Coastal Church.
101
Follow
This class will help you become better acquainted with the story, vision and values of Coastal Church. It will also give you the essential steps that every believer needs to take to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus. This includes more information on steps like water baptism.

Connect
This class will explore the essential habits and beliefs that produce a more meaningful relationship with Christ. In this class you will go through the Church’s statements of faith and family, as well as come to connect with others in a small group and have the opportunity to become a member of Coastal Church.

Discover
This class will help you discover and understand how your God-given design (personal and spiritual makeup) reveals a path to your purpose. We believe God created every person with a specific plan for their life, and we will go through 2 different surveys to help us discover more of what makes you uniquely you!

Serve
In this class you will find out more about the community, growth, and fulfillment that comes from being on the ministry team (SERVE team) at Coastal Church. You will take on an orientation tour to the serving teams that you can join. Based on your personality, and spiritual gifts that you discovered in 301, we’ll help to find a place for you to grow and serve.

Yes! When you fill in the registration form, you will be sent the information that is specific for your campus.
No. The Connect Course is Coastal Church’s membership course, so if you’ve ever had questions about if Coastal is the right home church for you, we would encourage you to come and check out 101 to learn more!
Each campus has variations. If you’re attending Downtown, you can drop your kids off at Kid’s church as it takes place during the 9am service. Kid’s church is available from 1 year – 10 years old.
Just yourself! We will provide course materials for you to follow along!
It helps to ensure that we are aligned and unified. There is amazing diversity in our church including different cultural and religious backgrounds, and the Connect Course is designed to clearly explain who we are what we believe as a church.
No problem, you can always come back the following month to make up the class that you missed!
