If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
Our service will begin promptly at 10:00 am and 11:45 every Sunday morning. Each service will typically last 1 hour 15 minutes. We always start with 15-20 minutes of singing followed by a 30-40 minute message via video from our senior pastor, David Koop. Seating is limited, so we advise any guests to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure seating (free parking is available outside our building).
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by joining a Life Group, a small gathering (between 6 to 12 people) that meets on a regular basis to ‘do life’ together. It is an effective way for everyone to feel personally connected to the church community and to learn and grow our faith in an intimate and supportive environment.
The Connect Courses are a four part membership course that will make it easier and faster for you to learn more about Coastal Church, and to find out more about yourself and your ministry within the local church. It is also a necessary step towards getting involved by volunteering or leading/hosting a Life Group.
At Coastal Church, we strongly believe in partnership with parents to see their children grow from infancy to adulthood as strong men and women of God. We know that God has given each child unique gifts and abilities for a kingdom mission. As Coastal Kids and Youth, it is our responsibility to support parents in training and equipping them through the word of God. We want every child and youth to feel safe, have fun, make friends, learn who God is, and share with others!
