Coastal School of Missions is a 8-month Bible intensive with the purpose of raising up a transformed generation, equipped with a vibrant faith and outfitted with the spiritual training necessary to impact the world for Christ. We strive to create an atmosphere that fosters a deep and personal encounter with God, where students are immersed in the richness of His Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Our vision is to cultivate a community of passionate learners, dedicated to equipping themselves with a solid theological foundation, practical ministry skills, and a Christ-centered worldview.
Part Time Studies
We’re excited to announce that Coastal School of Missions is now offering Open Courses taught by visiting teachers and Pastors from Sweeden, Word of Life Church. These courses will equip with faith and deep understanding of the Word of God to help you grow closer to Christ and fulfill His purpose.
- Times: 9:30 AM -12:30 PM (Tuesday to Saturday)
- Location: In-Person Class – Downtown Vancouver, Coastal Church Office.
- Registration Cost: $100 each course (flat fee for 5 days of classes)

Why Israel? This course will unpack the signficance and understanding of Israel as God’s chosen land and how it is related to the church and the nations.

Studying God’s covenants will help deepen our understanding of God’s character. This course will give you a revelations that God is a covenant keeping God. It will cover “what is a divine covenant?” and what covenants God has made with mankind.

We will explore the heart of God for the nations and how we, as believers, are called to be His ambassadors in a broken world. This course will provide insight into the global mission of the Church, emphasizing the importance of sharing the Gospel and serving others both locally and internationally. Learn how to effectively participate in God’s mission, understand the power of outreach, and gain a deeper passion for reaching people with the love of Christ.

Pastor Simon invites you to dive into the Epistles, letters written by early church leaders to guide and encourage believers. This course will unpack the rich theological insights and practical applications found within these texts, equipping you to live out your faith more effectively and understand the core messages of the New Testament. Join us as we explore how to live out the Great Commission in today’s world!
IMPORTANT NOTE : Registration fee is not refundable and not transferable to another guest nor course.
Registration is a flat fee for the entire course, whether you participate in one class, or in all five. Course will not be livestreamed.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, the school is for everyone who desires to grow in faith and obtain a biblical foundation for life. It will equip and empower you to fulfill the Great Commission, whether that is going back to your own sphere of influence or do the work of the ministry. It is also for those who would like to discover their ministry calling, missionary work. Everyone is welcome to apply.
IS THERE ANY HOMEWORK AND EXAMS?
Yes, there will be book reading, memorizing of scriptures, and short easy quizzes at the end of each course.
No, every student needs to procure their own parking for the duration of the school term. Coastal Church does not provide complimentary parking nor have any stalls available for rent.
ANY AGE RESTRICTION?
Anyone over 18 years can apply!
DO YOU NEED AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT VISA?
You will need a visa to stay legally for the 8 months school term. Please note – we are not an accredited school, and we’re unable to issue you a letter to apply for any immigration visa.
