We want to help make your first visit a great one! Please refer to the frequently asked questions below for information specific to the Downtown Campus.
Services at the Downtown Campus are recorded and broadcasted LIVE, both online and to other locations around Greater Vancouver. When attending a service, you’re also a part of our studio audience!
Our team will frequently disinfect surfaces throughout the building and we will sanitize the auditoriums between services. Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building. Water fountains, food-services, and coffee stations will not be available at this time. All seat-back materials, papers, and pens will be removed.
You will not be required to show proof of vaccine when attending the Downtown campus.
Wearing a mask is a personal choice and not required when attending the Downtown Campus. We will also continue to adhere to our province’s decision regarding masks. Learn more by visiting: www2.gov.bc.ca
If you or someone in your family is considered “high-risk” for severe illness, we encourage you to continue worshipping with us online.
Coastal Church provides parking at a discounted rate for anyone attending one of our weekend services. Cost is $2.50 for 2 hours. One of our parking attendants will be waiting to greet you and provide you with further instructions.
- Underground parking is located under 1128-1166 Alberni Street.
- Impark Parkade – lot 1662
- If entering from Thurlow Street (one way), turn into back alley, just before Joe Fortes’ restaurant.
- If entering from Bute Street, turn into back alley, just before Damso restaurant.
- Parking is available at a discounted rate of $2.50 for 2 hours (in limited Coastal designated stalls #98 and up)
- Pay stations are located on levels P1 and P2. Please enter your stall number (accepts credit card and coins only).
- Coastal Volunteers will be ready to help you at Pay Station with a discount code.
- Pay-by-phone is unavailable at this location.

- Saturdays, 3:30pm-7:30pm
- Sundays, 8:00am-3:30pm
We encourage you to come to church few minutes early if you’re using the parkade.
SkyTrain is one of the most convenient ways of getting to our downtown services. The Expo and Millennium SkyTrain Lines connect downtown Vancouver with the cities of Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. The Canada Line connects downtown Vancouver to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the city of Richmond.
For the Millennial/Expo line, Burrard Station is a 5 minute walk from the Coastal Church Downtown campus building. For the Canada Line, Vancouver City Centre is a 10 minute walk.
Vancouver has a vast network of buses, trolleys and community shuttles link to various hubs, exchanges, SkyTrain stations and tourist destinations throughout Metro Vancouver. The nearest bus stops to our building along West Georgia are located at Bute and West Georgia Street (50974 Eastbound, 58704 Westbound).

Cycling can be the fastest way of getting around, especially in more urban areas of Metro Vancouver. TransLink has made cycling a realistic travel option by providing funding for municipal bike routes and making it easy to connect with our transit services by bicycle.
