Every Friday at noon we invite you to come do lunch with us! Like other Coastal Church services, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a short musical set and a practical, relevant message. Unlike a typical weekend experience, Friday services will never run longer than 1 hour. A lot of our Friday guests work nearby Downtown, and we want to respect their time by starting and ending promptly. Each service starts with a few songs followed by a 30 minute message and a time of prayer at the end.
You’ll receive a complimentary snack, and water, plus access to a digital copy of the pastor’s message notes, which will help you make the most of each week’s teaching.
Friday services offer a unique opportunity for those working Downtown Vancouver to try church during their lunch break. It also is a great alternative for those who work on weekends or have family commitments that make it hard to attend church on a Sunday morning. It also is a great environment for those who are new to faith or perhaps checking out church for the first time.
Our volunteers and staff are trained to effectively connect with visitors to help them feel welcomed and help answer any questions about getting involved at Coastal. If you are visiting and need any assistance, please feel free to ask one of our staff and they will do their best to help you.
We are excited about this new Friday Noon services that happens in the heart of the city. You’re invited to come check it out and discover that there is a God who loves and pursues you.
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by joining a Life Group, a small gathering (between 6 to 12 people) that meets on a regular basis to ‘do life’ together. It is an effective way for everyone to feel personally connected to the church community and to learn and grow our faith in an intimate and supportive environment.
The Connect Courses are a four part membership course that will make it easier and faster for you to learn more about Coastal Church, and to find out more about yourself and your ministry within the local church. It is also a necessary step towards getting involved by volunteering or leading/hosting a Life Group.
