Building & Campus Updates
With much speculation of what would be become of an iconic church known as Knox Presbyterian in New Westminster, we rejoice that Coastal Church has taken ownership and will work towards preparing it for Coastal’s full usage. In this early stage of ownership we respect the numerous groups who have been leasing the property while we prepare our core team and the building.
The date to open the doors for Sunday services, along with Coastal programs is still to be confirmed. Please pray for this campus, that this faith community will burst with new life in Jesus Christ and God’s good hand of provision will supply all we need!

The opening date is still to be determined. We are presently engaged with a company who will assist with some interior upgrades prior to our full usage. Our service start date will coincide with their estimated completion date which is yet to be determined. We’ll keep you updated!
Yes, this will be a new campus launch. Our existing campuses are all experiencing growth, both with volunteers ready to serve and individuals and families new to Coastal, appreciating the smaller church community.
Pastor Dave and Cheryl, along with their pastoral team, are praying into all possibilities. Those possibilities include the transfer of a present campus pastor, another Coastal minister in training or an experienced pastor from one of our affiliate churches from around the world!
This launch team will be exciting! If you are comfortable doing some physical labour, joining the prayer team and volunteering for the new Serve Team, email [email protected] and you will receive an email on next steps.
Pastor Dave has often spoken about the theology of a building. We know the church is the body of believers in Christ Jesus however a building speaks of the assembling together. Our prayer is that we continue to Help Make the City a Better Place in this strategic location as good neighbours and a place for you as church family to worship, as well as a fresh new campus to bring your family and friends.
