We were created on purpose for a purpose. Is this something we need to develop, search for or is it simpler than that? The definition of Purpose is ‘the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists’. Is your purpose found in being or doing? Or both?
We weren’t meant to walk through this life alone and through God’s mercy, our thoughts and the intents of our hearts are revealed, exposing any dirt of sin and allowing it to be removed so we can walk in His light!
Walking by faith is rewarded by God, but so is standing, and this takes confidence. In Hebrews 10 we read, do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised… “My righteous[one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”
2021 could possibly be the year to begin a prayer of commitment and thankfulness to Him each night.
The Bible has many accounts of those who received a heavenly dream or vision. This is an encouragement to us as we can reflect on how God speaks and the results of obedience to what is heard or seen. So what is a divine dream or a vision?
Amongst the sorrow experienced with the world wide pandemic, there has also been a calm of sorts. Plans are simplified. Parents have risen to new level. And prayer has been more purposeful
Jesus is our Ark, and when the floodwaters come we can be assured that even though we feel the wind of fear and circumstances toss us around, Jesus will always bring us to shore, where our feet will once again be planted on solid ground.
